Ms Sim has been involved in business interruption and fidelity losses of various scopes and sizes for insurers in the Asia Pacific region. During her work with the Securities Commission of Malaysia, she assisted in criminal investigations involving individuals and companies who manipulated the stock market or published fraudulent financial statements and announcements. She has also been involved in the auditing of public listed companies and their subsidiaries as well as the reviewing of internal controls of an investment bank, particularly its finance, private banking, insurance and stock broking arms.
