TERYL ZARNOW, at The Orange County Register, reports how Hank Kahrs, Partner at RGL Forensics, help catch a thief at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin.
Speaking to The Orange County Register, Mr. Kahrs explains his story on how he used accounting to help solve the crime.
He explained "I just started asking questions. I went into their accounting system and did a few searches," Kahrs recalls. "I said: 'Did you know you paid (Polston's wife) $72,000 over the last four years? She's an employee here.' They said: 'No, she's not.' " The searching really started from there!
