RGL Forensics, a leading financial investigations company, specializing in the insurance, legal and corporate markets globally, is pleased to announce that it has promoted Clive Burrows, Mark Jennings and Michael Shryock to Director. 

DENVER, CO and LONDON, March 2018—RGL Forensics (“RGL” or “the Company”), a leading financial investigations company, specialising in the insurance, legal and corporate markets globally, is pleased to announce that it has promoted Clive Burrows, Mark Jennings and Michael Shryock to Director. Burrows is located in RGL’s Dubai office, Jennings is based in the firm’s London office and Shryock is based in RGL’s Atlanta office.

Over the past decade, Burrows has accumulated expertise in the quantification of financial losses for insurance and legal clients, including business interruption, delayed start-up, subrogated recoveries, and expert witness reports for commercial litigation and arbitration disputes. His involvement in Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific projects has brought specialist industry knowledge in sectors relating to petrochemicals, power generation, construction, metals and retail. Burrows joined RGL's London office as part of the firm’s graduate programme in 2007, where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). In December 2014, he relocated to set up and run the Dubai office which serves the MENA region. As a Director, Burrows remains committed to serving the MENA market and growing RGL’s presence in the region.

Jennings assists insurers, reinsurers, lawyers and surveyors and has worked on a wide range of assignments involving property insurance, cyber, compulsory purchase, general commercial litigation and arbitration. With his degree in chemistry, he brings a scientific approach to complex losses. Jennings joined RGL’s London office in 2006, where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). He was part of the RGL Christchurch earthquake and Thai flood CAT response teams and has worked extensively overseas. Jennings is instructed as an expert witness on behalf of claimants, defendants and as a single joint expert. He has given evidence in the Upper Tribunal.

Shryock is a seasoned financial expert, specializing in distilling complex issues down into salient points that are easily understood. He has nearly two decades of experience in forensic accounting, government/contractor fraud investigations, investigating financial motive for suspected arson, financial damage calculations and business valuations across a wide range of industries. Shryock has testified as a financial expert with respect to financial damages in matters before State Courts and provided deposition testimony in matters before Federal Courts. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Atlanta and joined RGL in 2007. He has been running the Atlanta office of RGL since 2012. Shryock is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a member of the CFA Institute. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of South Carolina.
