RGL Forensics is pleased to announce the addition of Mr Alex Koukoullis as a Director in our Singapore office.

SINGAPORE – 10 March 2016 – RGL Forensics is pleased to announce the addition of Mr Alex Koukoullis as a Director in our Singapore office. Mr Koukoullis joins the firm as of 1 March 2016, and will lead RGL’s operations in Singapore.

Mr Koukoullis specialises in business interruption loss evaluations for global, multinational enterprises. He has worked on large and complex claims involving property damage, business interruption, product recall and product liability, covering industries such as energy, construction, manufacturing and technology. Additionally, Mr Koukoullis provides litigation support and also forensic accounting services for financial crime investigations.

Prior to joining RGL, Mr Koukoullis was the Asia practice leader of Marsh Risk Consulting’s Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) Practice. Over his career he has worked throughout Asia Pacific and is well known in the broader Asian market.

The recent WannaCry ransomware attack has put into sharp focus the daily operational risks that face both the public and private sectors. The Press spotlight in the UK was understandably on the NHS, but the effects were felt by the private sector too and the cyber insurance market has responded accordingly. Indeed, the nature of the attack – its timing (on a Friday), its geographical reach over a broad range of industries and its seeming pinpoint on older operating systems – raises various issues for cyber insurers.
