Caroline Bedford has worked in forensic accounting for over 16 years, reviewing losses of various scopes and sizes around the world for both insurers and lawyers.
In the field of insurance litigation, Caroline focuses on quantifying losses relating to:
- Personal injury / fatal accident
- Professional indemnity
- Product liability
- Property damage (subrogation actions involving business interruption)
She also has experience of working with insurers directly in relation to first party business interruption claims arising from property damage and fraud / employee fidelity claims. In addition, Caroline lends her expertise to commercial litigation, assisting with the quantification of losses in disputes between parties, such as shareholders, partners or contractual parties. This often involves quantifying loss of profits or valuing a business. In 2006, Caroline relocated to North West England where she worked remotely supporting RGL’s clients in the area. Caroline was instrumental in the successful opening of the RGL Manchester office in May 2011 where she has since been based.
